How Do We Use Happio?

Believe it or not, here at HAPPIO we are not just “soulless techies”. Everybody can experience declines in their mental health, even the people behind your screen..
This is exactly why the staff here at HAPPIO are so passionate about the APP ❤️. We know what it’s like to experience declines in your mental health 📉. We know how frustrating it is when you finally manage to seek professional help only to be told: “it’s at least a 12 months wait time for therapy”🙅♀️. We know what it’s like to feel alone😥. We know what it's like to finally start feeling good again but do not know what you should be doing to maintain that feeling🤷♂️. We know what it’s like to want to help yourself build a better toolkit for managing your mental health, but not have access to the tools you need🧰.
Here at HAPPIO we genuinely want to help you!🤗. Why do we want to help you? Because this is the APP we needed when we were experiencing that decline, and because this is the APP we need and use to make sure we manage our mental health to help prevent experiencing that decline again✅.
👉 Would you like to know how I use Happio? From the “being a scientist” perspective, I understand how important meditation can be for your mental health. However, it is something I have always struggled with. You know when you know something is good for you but, you just can’t seem to get along with it? That was me and meditation before Happio.
I have always wanted to be one of the people that meditate every day because I know the benefits of it and I wanted them for myself. So, believe me when I say I tried to make meditation happen for me. First, I tried going to a meditation group. This wasn’t for me because I didn’t feel like I could relax enough to enter a meditative state in a room full of people I didn’t know. Then, I tried meditating on my own. This also wasn’t for me, I ended up thinking about all the things I needed to do and felt rushed to finish the meditation so I could begin doing them. After this, I then tried listening to guided meditations on an online video streaming website. This was working great.. until after three minutes into the guided meditation I was interrupted by an advertisement. But, I loved the premises of it, so next, I tried downloading an APP that told me it was for guided meditation. However, there were only two guided meditation options that were free. One of these was intended to get you to sleep by the end of it, so that left me with the other option. I quickly got bored of listening to the same guided meditation every day❌. Then along came HAPPIO...
For how my mind works and my lifestyle, Happio is perfect. It provides me with everything I need✨.
❇️ 9 free and different guided meditations – I love this because it means I can choose. I’m not restricted to having limited options unless I pay a lot of money. It gives me the ability to choose a different guided meditation each day and by the ninth day when I’ve circled back to the first meditation, I have forgotten what it is about. This means I’m not getting bored!✅. ❇️ I also love that because of the choice available, I can choose specific guided meditations tailored to my needs on that day if I want to. For example, when I want to focus my energy on manifesting something new in my life, I will use the gratitude guided meditation. This is so I am reminded of everything I am already grateful for, so my vibrational frequency is higher. I have found my manifestations come to fruition better this way✅. ❇️ The guided meditations also vary in time duration which gives me FLEXIBILITY. It means if I’m particularly busy one day I still get to complete my mediation practice because I can choose a shorter-lasting one. But, I’m not just restricted to short guided meditations because on days when I have more free time, I can lengthen my meditation practice by choosing a longer guided meditation ✅. ❇️ No advertisements interrupting me part way through my meditation and running my flow ✅.
👉 My routine with the HAPPIO APP
🔶 As soon as I wake up before I get out of my bed, I grab my phone. Now, you might be doing this yourself, but are you grabbing your phone to check messages, emails, or social media? I used to do that too. But, I knew I wanted to start showing up for MYSELF. I wanted to VALUE myself and this informed my goal of meditating, to begin with. So, now I finally had a way of meditating every day I wanted to make that happen. After about two weeks of training myself, I managed to switch to a habit that serves me. Now instead of checking messages, I go straight on to the HAPPIO APP. Depending on how many times I clicked snooze that morning determines which guided meditation I choose to do. I try and do a different one each day. 🔶 I also use HAPPIO whenever I can’t sleep at night. This isn’t every night but when it does happen, I turn to Happio to help me. I practice the “Fall asleep” breathing technique. 🔶 I don't often use public transport, I find it quite anxiety-inducing. So, when I do have to get on the train I engage with the breathing exercises available on HAPPIO to help me reduce this anxiety.
Are you intrigued to know how the Head of Product uses Happio? 🧐
Aliona’s favourite way to use HAPPIO is listening to the “Progressive Relaxation” guided meditation after a busy day at work (making sure this app is the best!) and her daily exercise. Especially if she’s done an evening training session because then she can find it harder to relax and fall asleep. Aliona has muscle tension and can sometimes feel overwhelmed. Incorporating Progressive Relaxation into her daily routine has allowed her to take back control. She’s now able to release the tension, calm her mind and let the worries of the day go🧘🏻♀️.
Here at HAPPIO, we really do care and we just want to help everyone 🤗! We’ve shared how we use the APP, now it's your turn to share! I'd love to know how do you use HAPPIO?
